Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Softxone and its family of audit tools (AdAutopsy, LandingLeak, TrackTrace, CreativeCoroner, CopyCourt — together, the "Service"), operated by Softxone ("we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Service is
Softxone is self-serve software: you paste data into a tool, and the software generates an automated report using an AI model. The Service is provided as-is, on a subscription basis, with no human review or manual service performed on your behalf. Reports are generated by automated systems and are provided for informational purposes only — they are not professional, legal, financial, or compliance advice, and you are responsible for verifying and acting on any findings.
2. Accounts
You need a valid email address to create an account. We use passwordless login (a one-time code sent to your email) — you're responsible for keeping access to that email address secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
3. Subscriptions & billing
Paid tiers are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Freemius, who acts as the merchant of record for all transactions. Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep full access until then. 4. Bring-your-own-key (BYOK)
You may optionally connect your own API key from a third-party AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, DeepSeek, Google, OpenRouter, or another OpenAI-compatible provider) to run audits using your own account instead of a paid subscription. Your key is encrypted at rest and used solely to process your own audit requests. Your use of a third-party provider is subject to that provider's own terms and pricing — we are not responsible for charges incurred on your own provider account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; share your account or API access with others in violation of your plan's limits; or submit data you do not have the right to submit. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Your data
Data you paste into a tool is sent to an AI model to generate your report and stored against your account so you can revisit past reports. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and how it's used.
7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI model outputs can be inaccurate or incomplete — reports are decision support, not a substitute for your own judgment or professional advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions made based on a report's contents. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be noted with an updated "Last updated" date above.
